Send a short brief, not a novel

The useful first message is plain:

• Date and roughly how long (an afternoon, a sunset, a full day).
• Where you want to board. Miami, Miami Beach, Brickell, Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside and Fort Lauderdale are the usual starts.
• What the day is for: friends, a family, a proposal, a client afternoon.
• Whether food and drinks should be waiting (our private chefs can handle it), or you are bringing them.

We match a crewed yacht to that brief and send options. The note says what the charter fee covers and what is extra, such as catering or a longer route. You approve it in writing. A web form is not a booking until we confirm.

The morning of the charter

You get a marina address and a boarding time. Arrive a little early. The captain walks the group through safety, then the boat leaves on the clock you booked. Late arrivals usually cost time on the water, not a later return, because the slip and the crew have a next commitment.

Light rain rarely cancels a covered yacht. If the captain calls the water unsafe, we move the charter when the boat and your dates allow. That call sits with the captain, not with a group chat.

Shoes, glass and swimming stops follow that boat’s rules. Ask before you promise jet skis or a decorator. Some days can take them. Some cannot on short notice.
