THE SERVICE

What Luxteria's Private Chef Service Actually Covers

A private chef is a culinary professional hired to cook for one household, not a restaurant, not a crowd.

Luxteria coordinates the entire engagement. We source the chef, review their background, confirm their private household experience, and match them to your specific occasion, a single dinner party, recurring weekly engagement, yacht-based meal in Biscayne Bay, or multi-day villa stay in Miami Beach.

Catering Team

A catering team can serve a crowd, but the experience is usually built around standardized production. Menu continuity, household fit, and last-minute dietary changes often move through multiple people.

Private Chef Match

One person owns the menu from conception to plate. That continuity produces a more refined, personal, and manageable experience when dietary requirements, guest preferences, or timing changes are involved.

We also handle culinary sourcing, coordinating with Miami specialty importers, Coral Gables premium markets, and local producers before the chef ever enters your home.

MIAMI LOGISTICS

Miami's Neighborhoods Require a Chef Who Knows How to Operate Inside Them

Miami's residential environments are not all the same, and the right chef for one setting may not be the right fit for another.

A waterfront property on Star Island has different access logistics than a high-rise in Brickell. A chef working a Fisher Island engagement needs to account for the ferry schedule and dock timing. A Coconut Grove estate with a large outdoor kitchen calls for someone comfortable with open-air production at scale.

Luxteria's coordinators know Miami-Dade's residential landscape. We factor in access, building management rules, kitchen setup, and timing before confirming any placement. The chef we send already knows what they are walking into.

IN PRACTICE

The Client Who Tried to Source a Private Chef Independently

Most clients who have tried to find a private chef on their own describe the same experience: a lot of searching, very little clarity.

I am Isaac Weinberg, Founder and CEO of Luxteria. A client came to me after spending three weeks trying to find a chef for a 12-person anniversary dinner at their Coral Gables home. They had contacted four candidates through a general staffing platform. Two never confirmed. One showed up to a video call unprepared and clearly had not reviewed the client's dietary brief. The fourth had strong restaurant credentials but zero private household experience.

That distinction matters enormously. A restaurant-trained chef knows how to produce volume under pressure for an anonymous dining room. A private chef operates in someone's home, handling confidential household information, working around personal schedules, and representing the client's standard of living to their guests.

When the client came to Luxteria, we had a confirmed placement within 72 hours. The chef we matched had eight years of private household experience, spoke to the client's preference for coastal Mediterranean cuisine, and had sourced Wagyu from a purveyor the client already trusted.

Chef vetting and occasion-based placement is not a referral list. It is a matched placement built on real criteria.

THE BRIEF

How We Match a Chef to Your Household, Occasion, and Menu Standard

Every placement starts with a single brief, one conversation that captures everything we need to match correctly.

We do not present a shortlist and ask the client to choose. We present one vetted chef confirmed against the right criteria.

  • Occasion type single dinner, recurring weekly, multi-day event, yacht assignment, or villa placement.

  • Cuisine preference and dietary requirements specific ingredients, excluded items, cultural considerations, and presentation standards.

  • Guest profile number of guests, formality level, service style, and any VIP considerations.

  • Sourcing standard preferred purveyors, organic requirements, local-market preference, and specialty procurement.

  • Household logistics kitchen access, building or property rules, timing constraints, and access coordination.

  • Private conduct review culinary background, residential conduct, and private placement history are reviewed before any introduction.

If adjustments are needed after the first conversation, we handle them before confirmation.

VETTING

Every Chef We Place Has Been Reviewed Before Your Name Is Ever Attached

Luxteria does not forward resumes. We confirm placements.

Working inside a private home, with access to a family, a kitchen, and an evening, requires professional conduct that goes beyond culinary skill alone.

A Profile Alone
  • ×

Restaurant credentials are treated as enough for a private household setting.

  • ×

Menu customization is assumed from broad claims of diverse experience.

  • ×

The client is left to evaluate conduct, availability, and fit directly.

Vetted by Luxteria
  • Culinary training and private household placement history are reviewed first.

  • Conduct in residential settings is considered part of the placement standard.

  • Specific cuisine style, dietary adaptations, and presentation requirements are confirmed before introduction.

“Specific confirmed capability builds the right dinner. Broad claims do not.”

TEAM, LUXTERIA MIAMI
THE PROCESS

From First Brief to Plated Dinner: The Coordination Steps We Own

The process runs in three phases, and Luxteria manages all three.

01

Intake & Chef Matching

The client provides their brief. Our team reviews current placement availability, cross-references chef profiles against the stated criteria, and confirms the match internally. No unvetted names reach the client.

02

Menu Planning & Culinary Sourcing

Once the chef is confirmed, we coordinate the menu build. That includes ingredient sourcing, supplier coordination, and any specialty procurement the occasion requires, including Miami's Latin American and Caribbean specialty producers.

03

Day-Of Coordination & Follow-Through

Luxteria stays involved through execution. We confirm arrival timing, coordinate last-minute logistics, and debrief after the engagement. If the client wants to retain the same chef, we manage that transition directly.

You receive a chef who already knows your menu and has confirmed sourcing in place, not a chef who arrives and starts asking questions.

FAQ

Private Chef Questions, Answered Directly

Book at least one to two weeks ahead for most occasions. Miami's peak Season, November through April, compresses availability for experienced private household chefs faster than most clients expect. Luxteria confirms placement before presenting any chef to you, so your request window needs to account for both sourcing and our internal vetting review.

Chef fees vary by cuisine specialty, occasion length, and sourcing complexity. Contact Luxteria at +1 305-465-5555 or office@luxteriaconcierge.com with your occasion date and menu priorities. The first conversation establishes realistic cost expectations before any placement begins.

Staffing platforms show you profiles. Luxteria confirms private household experience, culinary training, and residential conduct history before your name is ever attached to a candidate. A chef who performs brilliantly in a restaurant kitchen operates very differently inside a private home, Luxteria vets specifically for that distinction, not just culinary credentials.

Both are included. Menu build, dietary accommodation, and ingredient sourcing, including Miami's specialty importers and premium local markets, are coordinated as part of the same engagement. You receive a chef who already knows your menu and has confirmed sourcing in place.

Feedback from the first dinner refines the brief immediately. Luxteria adjusts the placement criteria and sources a better-matched candidate based on what specifically did not meet your standard. The goal is a permanent match, not a one-time transaction, and correction happens before your next occasion.

Yacht-based and villa dining coordination are standard parts of the private chef service. Chefs placed for waterfront and vessel-based occasions are confirmed specifically against those logistics, galley kitchen dimensions, provisioning access, and dock timing are all factored into the placement before any chef is presented to you.
